It's hoped to open next year

Plans for a £1.8 million development that would house eight homeless people in Nottingham have been welcomed by the local community. Homelessness charity Framework have applied to build a three storey building on a vacant car park on the corner of Gregory Boulevard and Birkin Avenue, between Radford and Hyson Green.

David Seay, who lives in nearby Radford Road, told Nottinghamshire Live the development represented a "good thing". The 52-year-old said: “I think it’s a good thing that they’re turning it into homeless accommodation, it will keep homeless people off the street and compact them into one.”Ellie Balis, 20, was also in support of the plans, said: “It’s always a good idea to shelter homeless people so I support it.” James Jenkins, of Radford, added: “I think it’s great.
