More than 1.5 million Ovo Energy customers could earn £10 per month by completing the seasonal challenge.
Ovo Energy customers are being paid to use less power this summer in a new incentive aimed at shifting electricity usage out of peak hours to times when the grid is greener. The new ‘Power Move’ initiative will see households rewarded with £10 per month for reducing their electricity consumption to 12.5 per cent of their daily usage, between the hours of 4pm and 7pm.

Ofgem opened compliance proceedings with Ovo after the Energy Ombudsman and Citizens Advice Scotland contacted the regulator regarding the supplier's handling and resolution of complaints.
