Former Royal Marine Sandy Cormack, who served as a Commando across Europe, will be taking on the walk on Sunday, April 30 to raise funds for the Erskine Veterans Charity.Sandy and six other veterans will have their Erskine kilts on as they start their Big Stroll at Clydebank with the aim of finishing five hours later at Balloch.
"Everyone has really come together and are looking forward to taking on the challenge alongside one another." Nancy Connor, 79, whose husband Charles served with the Highland Light Infantry, is the only woman in the group. Erskine Head Physiotherapist Lynne Barr said:"It is hugely important for our Veterans to keep fit and well.
