Maurice Frank Matthews Sadly passed away on 5th October 2023 aged 94 years. Deeply loved husband and best friend to wife Julia. He will be missed by family and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Wilford Hill Crematorium on Friday 27th October at 11:30am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to British Heart Foundation either on the day or sent care of Rutland House.
Sheila Dorothy Walker Passed away on Sunday 8th October 2023, aged 82 years. A funeral service will be held at St Luke's Church, Hickling, on Wednesday 1st November 2023 at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, with donations to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. John Reginald Skeavington Passed away on Sunday 8th October 2023 in the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham surrounded by his family aged 86. Long serving well respected and much loved former local GP. Devoted husband of the late Sheila, loving father of Charles, Elizabeth and James, grandfather of Charles, brother of Norma and Joan. Beloved companion of Gillian in later years.
Arthur Jarvis Arthur remembered affectionately as Toots, sadly passed away on the 26th September 2023, Aged 77 years. A cherished brother to Stephen and Jane, dearly adored uncle to Eleanor and beloved brother in law to Ken. A true gentleman with a pure heart, whose passing has left an immeasurable hole in our hearts. Toots was a dedicated farmer and lifetime Forest Fan. The funeral to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Bulcote on Thursday 26th October at 11.30am.
