Reviewers have been piling on the praise
There has been a lot of noise about beauty products recently as Nottingham founded firm Boots released its 'world first' - the No7 Future Renew. However, reviewers are also piling on the praise for a £16 anti-ageing cream from another brand and this one claims its product is "highly effective" giving an instant filler-effect that, it says "works wonders on expression lines, pores and uneven texture".
The hybrid cream-balm is fragrance free and vegan, and is made specifically with the goal of blurring the look of fine lines around the eyes, mouth and forehead with it claiming to give a ‘ no-makeup makeup ’ look. Some of those who have used the product claim it left skin smooth, plumped and softer than ever. According to Manchester Evening News, one reviewer said: "It's crazy how fast it works, I tried it out and within five minutes it looked like I'd put makeup on.
The science behind the product is, according to the manufacturer, the use of two different molecular weights of pure hyaluronic acid in order to provide multi-depth hydration throughout the skin layers. It says, 2% squalane is used to further protects skin by restoring the lipid barrier. Tremella and polyglutamic acid are also used to keep the skin moisturised.
