In the men’s 5,000, the trio of Ingebrigsten, Ethiopia’s Selemon Barega and Ugandan Joshua Cheptegei could mix it up for the most exciting race. Ingebrigsten is considered the most talented youngster in the world and holds court at 1,500 meters. Cheptegei can make a similar claim at 10,000 meters. Meeting in the middle at 5,000, where Barega has thrived, should create fireworks.
Get settled in at 3 p.m. ET Saturday for the women’s 10,000 and make sure to come back at 10:50 p.m. for the men’s 100-meter final. The highly anticipated women’s 1,500 meters will be Monday evening at 10:50 p.m. ET and the men’s 5,000 will be Thursday evening at 6:10 p.m.
