We do know that offensive line coach Chris Foerster hasn’t exactly been pleased with Moore, the leading candidate for the job entering camp. “He’s been not maybe everything we’ve wanted him to be up to this point,” Foerster said earlier this week. “He’s done a serviceable job. We’re still looking for a little more from Jaylon.”
So far, Pryor has only been comfortable playing right tackle. Having Moore and Pryor specialize on the left and right sides, respectively, is inefficient for the 49ers because they have to dedicate two spots to backup tackles. That’s another reason to be ready for a potential move here in the coming days.
