Floral tributes have been left on a bridge over the A52
Brian Clough Way after the discovery of a teenager's body on the road. Police say that the find was made at around 11pm on Saturday near the Victoria Avenue slip road towards Borrowash, Derbyshire Live reports.
A large England flag is now hanging on the bridge over the A52 into Derby whilst a bottle of beer and flowers have also been placed at the scene. Messages have also been left there, with one reading: "Your next 10 pints are on us pal. Never forget our chats. Cause havoc up there." Another note said: "We love you so much, you are loved by everyone and I mean everyone." Another message reads: "We all love and miss you so much. Nobody could ever replace you and your character. Love you millions brother gone way too soon."Derbyshire Police is still asking those with any information that could help officers to call them and use the reference 22*708796. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for the force said: "The westbound side of the dual carriageway was closed for six hours after the force was contacted by a driver at 11.10pm on Saturday night ."
