A five-year-old abandoned Staffordshire bull terrier has become the first of her breed to sniff out explosives for police.She recently worked at the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, as well as being on duty at the wedding of Princess Beatrice.Sue Dicks, who trained Roxy at RSPCA West Hatch, said Staffordshire bull terriers had often been “overlooked” for policing roles in the past because of their reputation.
