Abdoulaye Doucoure insists Everton’s players “have the right mentality” after the club lost its third consecutive Premier League game.
The 1-0 loss followed the opening day defeat to Fulham and the disappointing performance at Aston Villa the previous weekend. While his team were unable to respond with a win, Everton once again dominated in front of the home crowd and missed good chances to snatch the initiative in the match. Doucoure, whose form played a crucial role in the escape from relegation last season, believes his players are up for the fight ahead and is hopeful progress will come with patience.
