Abusive boyfriend left partner needing 37 staples after brutal attack caused horrific 'disfigurement'
A woman was left needing 37 staples after being brutally attacked by her now ex-boyfriend. The 31-year-old victim suffered horrific injuries which caused "serious disfigurement" and a likely permanent scar along her arm.
They had drinks, but an argument erupted. They tried to go into the Monk's Walk pub, but he was refused entry because of earlier incidents there. She walked towards Beverley Minster and Billaney ran up behind her and grabbed her by her right arm. She later said that her anxiety levels and mental health had been seriously affected. She was worried that Billaney would turn up at her house.
"There is a very angry scar that runs up her upper right arm. It's an angry scar that isn't going to go anywhere soon. It's serious disfigurement on a young woman."
