Activision Blizzard's COO will be stepping down in March...

). Daniel Alegre, who joined the company in 2020 after leaving Google as its president of global retail and shopping, will leave the position of chief operating officer of Activision Blizzard on March 31st, 2023, according to a recent 8K filing from the US Securities and Exchange Committee.

Yuga Labs has announced that Alegre will be joining the company as CEO in the first half of 2023, succeeding its previous CEO, Nicole Numiz . Yuga Labs is the creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club and is currently developing a metaverse title called Otherside, which has already sold $1 billion worth of NFTs to Voyagers, AKA virtual land prospectors.

Activision Blizzard is yet to reveal who'll be replacing Alegre, but we'll let you know when it does.
