Adam Thomas declared 'and so it begins' before opening up about his hidden health battle. after being diagnosed with a painful condition.
In a post on his Instagram Story on Thursday , Adam could be seen smiling for the camera as he sat on the train before throwing up his hands to give a peace sign to the camera. "London bound... and so it begins," he cryptically typed with a dancer emoji hinting that his Strictly stint was really beginning.
"I’ve been in a lot of pain since January, it started with my knees and then traveled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes. I never knew what was happening and finally after several blood tests and back and forth to doctors and hospitals, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis! The former Emmerdale star went on to thank his wife Caroline and children Teddy and Elsie-Rose after what he described as some "challenging and frustrating" times. He added: "The reason I signed up to strictly is because I just want to be able to move again, get fit and do it, all with a smile on my face!
