It comes not long after the Waterloo Road star shared how he'd received a diagnosis after struggling since the start of the year
Adam Thomas has shared his 'worst nightmare' with his fans and luckily it's not being on a dancefloor ahead of his Strictly Come Dancing stint. The actor made the admission on his Instagram Story as he showed how he continues to manage the painful condition he has recently been diagnosed with.
And it wasn't until earlier this month that Adam shared the problem that he found was holding him back. The former Emmerdale star,who is one of 15 famous faces who will be stepping foot in the ballroom next month when the hit BBC One dance contest returns for the 2023 season, shared that he has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, a long-term condition that causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints.
But Adam is clearly dedicated to keeping the condition under control and on Friday , took to Instagram with a photo showing a swimming pool. Alongside the black and white snap he penned: "My worst nightmare haha." But he then added: "But helps ease the pain." Last week, as he celebrated his 35th birthday, he got to meet up with his fellow dancing stars for the first time as they all met with the professional dancers in rehearsals in London. Taking to Instagram, the former Emmerdale star appeared to show the group already getting on well as they surprise him and former EastEnders star Nigel with a birthday cake as they shared the same special day.
