Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is also investigating the worker, who was based at Addenbrooke's Urgent Treatment Centre.Cambridgeshire Police said it was contacted by the hospital on Monday.According to the hospital's website, the Urgent Treatment Centre is for patients who need to see a doctor or nurse out-of-hours but are not in a life-threatening condition.
The hospital said it had also notified NHS England and the Care Quality Commission, and the Health and Care Professions Council had taken action to suspend the individual's professional registration.
