.The commander for Badghis Province is thought to have been detained by the Taliban after they took over the area near the Turkmenistan border.
It first emerged on the feed of a group called @PanjshirProvince, which appears to be a resistance movement against the Taliban. After a graphic content warning, Ms Nawa tweeted: ‘Haji Mullah, Police chief of Badghis province executed by #Taliban. This is their public amnesty!’, as the group goes on the charm offensive to give itself an air of legitimacy.
