Nearly 28,000 Afghani and Afghani Americans have been evacuated since the Taliban took control of the country's government last weekend. About 11,000 were able to flee just this past weekend, President Joe Biden said at a news conference Sunday. Roughly 2,000 refugees have been relocated so far, a majority to Virginia.
