Air ambulance lands as police cordon off street amid reports of person seriously injured
An air ambulance landed as police blocked off a street in Hyde on Sunday amid reports of a person being seriously injured.
A number of witnesses told the Manchester Evening News they heard a woman and a man 'shouting' at each other before emergency services were called out to the scene.One resident reported that they saw an injured person on a stretcher being wheeled into the back of an ambulance at the scene. The Manchester Evening News understands the injuries sustained are classed as being serious.
Another, who contacted the M.E.N said: "I was in the bath when I heard shouting. It was a male and female shouting at each other.
