Air ambulances, cops and fire fighters rush to beach as ‘major incident’ declared
BOURNEMOUTH beach has been evacuated after a major incident was declared this afternoon.
Two air ambulances landed on East Beach and emergency responders swarmed to the pier as crowds watched on.A Coastguard boat was seen in the water during the incidentCredit: Twitter Fire services were also called to the scene at around 4.39pm as part of a multi-agency incident that also involved police.Bournemouth Echo
one person was being assisted on the beach and within 10-15 minutes there was a second team of emergency response helping another person. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said: "We were called to East Beach, Bournemouth at 4.39pm to support a multi-agency incident.
