McGill says doing well at home is going to be key for the Diamonds to do well in the Championship
Gabby McGill says Airdrie are turning New Broomfield into a fortress, and Championship teams won’t like going there.
The striker said: “I’m sure many people thought we were just off the high of getting promoted when we were saying that we would do well in this league, but I think we’re proving it. “You keep that going, you win all your home games and draw all your away games and that’s you pretty much guaranteed winning the league.Caley defender Cameron Harper has been officially credited with the goal, with McGill’s shot cannoning off him and into the bottom left corner after just 33 seconds of the game.
