AJ's Strictly trophy hopes hang in the balance as she 'can't stand' days before final
Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu has detailed how she's been left on crutches and unable to put any weight on her injured foot, just days before she’s supposed to take to the BBC dancefloor for the show’s grand final.
The star, who has been one of the hot favourites in the competition since her amazing week one jive, continued: “So we have missed a lot of training because I can’t stand up.” However, sitting by her side, Kai went on to explain that AJ is a fighter and he knows she will give one hundred percent despite her injury.
Kai said: “We rehearsed on Monday, we did the show dance and we got through it. Obviously we still need to patch it up a little bit – there’s a lot of lifts in there.” “[She's] a non-dancer that's just shown character week after week after week and coming back from setbacks."
