Aldi store closed off and police seen running inside as emergency services swarm supermarket
Police have scrambled to a Trafford supermarket following an incident in-store. Emergency services were called out to Aldi on School Road, Sale, at around 3pm this afternoon .
The Manchester Evening News understands emergency services were called out to reports of a medical episode, believed to be a cardiac arrest.A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital. No further details about his condition or the nature of the incident have been released at this stage. The M.E.N. understands a member of staff contacted emergency services after the man fell ill at the supermarket. One witness, who works in a nearby nail salon, said: “Three ambulances and loads of police cars went speeding past.
