Everton transfer latest with new claims on future of Alex Iwobi and Maxwell Cornet ahead of Friday deadline
Alex Iwobi's future at Everton is set to be a source of intrigue over the final days of the transfer window.
His future remains uncertain because negotiations over a new contract are yet to reach a conclusion despite having been opened last September. Dyche said talks were ongoing with the player and representatives when asked by the ECHO earlier this month. Demarai Gray is wanted by clubs in Saudi Arabia and has also attracted interest from Fulham, and it is still thought he is likely to leave. Gray has not been involved in a first-team matchday squad since his return from Gold Cup duty with Jamaica, though Dyche has cited fitness issues as the reason for his absence.
Everton are seeking to strengthen on the right of midfield - another strand of intrigue in Iwobi's future considering that is where Dyche has typically used him.
