Alex Jones' on-air chat with ex Steve Jones leaves fans 'squirming' 😬😬
Fans were left squirming after The One Show host Alex Jones was reunited with her ex Steve Jones on Tuesday for an interview about his new book.
Steve appeared on the popular show to discuss his new novel Call Time which is based on a man who comes across an old mobile phone which leads him to be able to speak to his 12 year old self. Discussing the ideas behind his book, Steve revealed that the idea came to him while he was having a drink and a catch up in the pub with some friends.
One fan wrote: “OMG you could cut the tension with a knife between Alex and Steve”, while another said: “Steve can't even look Alex in the eye! He's glaring at Jermaine”. Earlier this year host Alex Jones opened up about her relationship with Steve on the Dish podcast hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett.
