Rather than embracing the bold Crayola trend, however, Chung ultimately settled on a nostalgia-inducing cut: her signature ’00s bob.
The style coincided with the model’s rise as a fashion influencer in the Noughties . “The thing with Alexa is that she’s the whole package, and it was around the same time that she started really getting noticed for her style that we went for the shorter cut,” Chung’s hairdresser George Northwood. “I first met Alexa… when she came in as a Storm model – I used to do all of the new faces’ hair for their books. I did my invisible layering technique on her, and she loved it.
