The full list of Department for Work and Pensions and HMRC benefits that will be paid early due to Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral has been revealed.
Her funeral has been declared a bank holiday nationwide to allow people to tune in and watch the ceremony, as reported by the Daily Record.The DWP and HMRC have therefore confirmed that those due to receive payments on September 19 will instead get their money on Friday, September 16. An HMRC spokesperson said: "Due to the bank holiday for the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, Child Benefit and Tax Credits customers who had expected a scheduled payment on Monday 19 September, will now receive their payments on Friday 16 September.”
