All Royal Mail services will be suspended across the country.
The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday, September 19 after the monarch's death at the age of 96 on Thursday.
"All other services, including schools and nurseries, will be closed as a mark of respect on this day of National Mourning."Schools As confirmed by Glasgow City Council, schools and nurseries will be closed A spokesman said: “Household bin collections will not go ahead as scheduled on the 19th. We are currently working on plans to minimise the impact on residents and further information will be shared as soon as it is available.”The majority of major stores and supermarkets will be closed for the national day of mourning.
Museums The majority of museums and public gardens will be closed for the funeral, including the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
