David Walliams has launched a legal battle against the production company that makes Britain's Got Talent.
Amanda Holden is reportedly feeling caught in the middle of the row between David Walliams and Simon Cowell.
Walliams, 52, announced his departure from the ITV show last November after leaked audio emerged where he could be heard making disrespectful remarks about contestants. Walliams apologised for his comments but lodged papers in the High Court in London last month after he was axed from the show accusing bosses of 'a data breach.'
The Guardian obtained several transcripts of conversations between Walliams and the unknown person, including one calling a male contestant a "c**t" on three occasions after the pensioner appeared to make a lighthearted jibe at Walliams. Following the legal battle, Amanda reportedly feels like she is stuck in the middle as the feud between her two close friends continues. An insider close to Amanda said: “Amanda is feeling incredibly torn right now – she’s thought of both Simon and David as her ‘work husbands’ and is struggling with where to show her loyalty right now, which is causing a lot of anxiety.
