Amazon shoppers say a £17.99 portable fan heater 'works great' to keep homes warm during the colder months and can 'heat up a room in five minutes'.
Many who bought the fan heater were surprised by how effectively it worked, given its compact size, while others praised it as 'great value' and said it quickly warms up a room. One impressed customer said: "I needed something to warm me up if central heater was off. One five-star reviewer raved: "I wasn’t really expecting much for the price but I’ve used it this morning . Plugged it in and switched it on and it started kicking out a surprising amount of heat immediately. Sat down next to it to warm myself up and it’s so powerful, I had to move further away because the heat is so powerful.
Some people complained that the dials were fiddly to use, as one person wrote: "The position of the knobs is badly designed. They are placed vertically which is inconvenient because a heater is usually placed on the floor to let warm air go up."
