A majority of staff at its Coventry warehouse have signed up to a union, the GMB says.
Amazon could soon be forced to recognise a trade union in the UK for the first time.
"Over the past seven months, our minimum pay has risen by 10% and by more than 37% since 2018," it added. He said: "It's just so exciting because we've taken on one of the biggest companies in the world and won."If Amazon does not grant recognition, the body responsible for resolving recognition disputes, the Central Arbitration Committee, could be asked to step in.
