A 31-year-old man from Pilling was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and drug driving
Emergency services were called to Amounderness Way in Thornton-Cleveleys following reports of a collision. The incident happened shortly before 6pm on Sunday and involved two vehicles.
Lancashire Constabulary said a woman suffered chest injuries and an arm injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. A man suffered a head injury and was also taken to hospital.. He remains in custody for questioning. Amounderness Way was closed for several hours in both directions from the River Wyre roundabout to Norcross roundabout.
A force spokesperson told LancsLive: "We were called around 5.50pm yesterday to a report of a collision on Amounderness Way, Thornton. Two vehicles had been involved in a collision. "A woman suffered chest injuries and an arm injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. A man suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital.READ NEXT:
