The Strictly Come Dancing pro took to the National TV Awards this week after undergoing her third round of chemotherapy
Amy Dowden has been hailed an 'inspiration' after appearing at the National Television Awards on Tuesday just days after undergoing her third round of chemotherapy. The Strictly Come Dancing star, who joined the BBC dance contest as a professional back in 2017, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer earlier this year.
"But I've not ended up in hospital so far after this admission so that's a win-win! I was told by my fellow pink sisters that usually after the third EC, the chemo you have, is when you start to lose your eyelashes and eyebrows and so far, I've still got them. Amy looked stunning as she donned a gorgeous frilled pink gown which was embellished with a breast cancer awareness pin, which she pointed out whilst she was photographed before the ceremony at London's O2 Arena. Taking to her Instagram page to share some photos of her look following the NTA's, the Strictly star addressed the BBC show's win for Best Talent Show.
