Andy Halliday unwittingly had a huge say in Scott Allan's move to Celtic
Former Rangers star Andy Halliday has told of how he unwittingly may have had a say in Scott Allan's transfer to Celtic.
And whilst Rotherham also had a bid rejected, it was the Hoops who swooped in to secure his signing after sending Liam Henderson on loan in the other direction. Despite this, Allan’s career at Celtic Park didn’t quite go to plan after loan spells at Rotherham, Dundee and Hibs saw him find his way back to Easter Road on a permanent deal.
Speaking to Open Goal, Halliday said: “I’d be speaking to Scotty Allan when it was Rangers vs Hibs, and I’m thinking he’s signing for Rangers in three or four days and we’re talking about in on the pitch.
