Ange Postecoglou in spikey Spurs reaction to Romero poser
The player was far from happy with the call, as he exchanged words with Postecoglou and walked down the tunnel.
But Postecolgou insists he was right to withdraw the 25-year-old, and he was typically spikey when asked about the incident post-match. He told Sky Sports:"I think it was quite evident that he hit his head. We are in an era where we know about these things and I'm not a doctor. "Any time where these things happen we protect the players. They don't know themselves what is going wrong.
"The disappointing thing for me is that apparently we filed the wrong paperwork for a concussion sub. In this day and age a piece of paper is not what is important, but there was no hesitation in taking him off."
