Ange Postecoglou has named Son Heung-min his new Tottenham captain in rare footage shared from inside a team meeting.
His departure meant a new skipper had to be installed in North London and the club gave fans a glimpse into what their new boss is like behind closed-doors by sharing a video of him addressing his squad ahead of their league opener today. In the meeting he decides on his new captaincy roles with Son handed the armband for the campaign ahead. Cristian Romero and summer recruit James Maddison both got vice-captain roles from the ex-Hoops gaffer.
Former Spurs and Celtic man Ramon Vega shared the clip from the official Tottenham Twitter and wrote: "He will be superb as a leader and captain. I’m very excited about Ange's new way of approaching and playing.
