Postecoglou will take his side to the Emirates for the first time since stepping into the Spurs hot seat on Sunday.
The Tottenham fans have been quickly won over by Ange Postecoglou - and the feel-good factor will rumble on if the Australian can lead the club to a win over Arsenal.
The message to the Spurs stars before they face off with Arsenal was to embrace the noise around the blockbuster fixture. Speaking ahead of the derby showdown, Postecoglou was quizzed on treating the fixture like "any other game". He responded: "You don't downplay the significance of the game, because even if I tried to there is enough noise around it that the players know the significance of it. They don't live in bubbles.
"But it's not like you treat it any differently. People say do you treat it like every other game? Well yes you do because you want to win, but the noise around it is something we have to embrace and absorb." In a response that will now be familiar to the Tottenham support, he said: “There is so much attention on everything we do over the next few days. You can get narky about it or complain about it or you can just embrace it as the fact it’s a big game this week, with a big prize at the end of it and just roll with it.
