02/01/2023 08:28am GMTHealth unions have reacted angrily to the prospect that the Government could seek to impose another below-inflation pay rise on NHS staff next year.
The unions are already embroiled in a bitter dispute over this year’s award, which has seen walkouts by nurses and ambulance staff with more due this month. “Inflicting a decade of real-terms pay cut misery on nursing should be more than enough without considering going down that road again next year.”
