Angry Beetham Tower Twitter account to close down after owner reveals health scare
The account, which was set up a decade ago, tweeted as if Beetham Tower had come to life — and took on a malevolent purpose. Often, the account would ask users which object or organisation they would like to demolish using a poll — promising to destroy the ‘winner’ with ‘nuclear lasers’.
Writing on his blog, Roland said he suffered a stroke on April 15, before heading to see electronic music duo Plaid at Gorilla.
