Liverpool's beloved waterfront firework display will not be going ahead this year, it has been confirmed.
Last year, the firework display was cancelled in a bid to tackle potential disruption and delays caused during the coronavirus pandemic. In the years before the pandemic hit, the River of Light fireworks display often attracted up to 50,000 people.
