Man suffered serious facial injuries in an assault
We are appealing for witnesses following a reported assault which has left a man in his 30s with serious injuries to his face.
Officers were called to reports of a commotion at an address in Keddington Avenue in Lincoln just after midnight today where they found a man with significant injuries to his face. He received initial treatment at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment. At this stage it is not clear where and when the incident took place, and we are following a number of lines of enquiry to establish the circumstances of the incident and identify any suspects.We ask that anyone who was driving in the Riseholme Road and Keddington Avenue areas of Lincoln between 11pm last night and 12.30am today to check dashcam footage to see if they may have captured an altercation.
We are also interested in footage which might show a group of men together.
