Arsenal target ‘wants’ summer move – Newcastle, Forest ‘lurking’ as club set £13m asking priceDjibril Sow ‘wants to leave’ Eintracht Frankfurt this summer amidst interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, according to reports.
The Switzerland midfielder’s current deal is set to expire in 2024 and it has been reported by reputable German journalist Florian Plettenberg that he ‘wants to leave’ at the end of 2022-23. Sow has opened ‘concrete talks’ with clubs from England, France and Italy and there is ‘open communication’ between the player’s representatives and the Frankfurt bosses.Arsenal have been linked with Sow in the pastSow plays with Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka for Switzerland, so the 30-year-old will be able to put in a good word for his compatriot, if he likes him, I guess.
The Gunners are not the only Premier League side interested, however. The report adds that Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are both ‘lurking’.
