Bob Arum reveals talks with Oleksandr Usyk's team over potential Tyson Fury fight
Hall of Fame boxing promoter Bob Arum is still working on big fights for Tyson Fury, even though the Englishman insists he is retired.in the immediate aftermath of his sixth-round knockout win over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April.After months of speculation about his impending return, the WBC heavyweight champion remains adamant he is done with boxing for good but the majority of fight fans remain unconvinced.
“I’m hoping [Oleksandr] Usyk wins because I’ve talked with his people and I think they would be anxious to fight Tyson Fury and I would hope to do that fight in December, maybe, or early next year,” Arum toldThe 90-year-old expects a repeat result in the rematch after Usyk convincingly beat Joshua over 12 rounds when they first fought at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London last September.
