At least four women are crushed to death in a stampede in front of terrified children at Kabul airport
As thousands tried to rush through gates in 88F temperatures, some at the front of the queue were crushed. Soldiers desperately shouted for medics and stretchers as people pronounced dead and covered in sheets. Mayhem followed more violence in the capital last night as people in crowds were being beaten with sticks.
