The August bank holiday weekend is here and some supermarkets will be making changes to their opening and closing times.
As retailers give staff some extra time off, the numbers of hours you have to do your food shop will be reduced. So if you're looking to stock up on extra food and drink for a bank holiday barbecue, or need some other household essentials, be sure to check the opening times before you head out. We've rounded up the opening and closing times for many of the large supermarkets below. Some smaller stores and convenience shops will remain open later as usual.
