Dutton has been asked what his view was of the Afghan armed forces who, following directions from the government chose not to fight to defend the capital of Kabul. We are seeing the scenes we are now as a result. When you have training and investments being made into equipment, and they abandoned their post, that is disappointing and it is tragic. Though it is the reality of what has happened in Afghanistan and, again we should be proud of the men and women in Afghanistan.
