After less than a month of release, AvatarTheWayOfWater is set to break into the top ten highest-grossing movies of all time:
While few expect the sequel to reach those heights, there's still a lot of interest in how much money it can make and whether the haul will be enough for James Cameron to realise his full five-movie vision.enjoyed an extraordinary run that saw it cross the $2 billion mark on January 31, 2010, before ending its initial release at $2.75 billion. The sequel has been equally impressive in its opening fortnight, but still is unlikely to come close to that.
However, with little competition around in January at the box office, the sequel is well set to hit $2 billion if it continues to hold as well as it has been doing.
