AN award-winning Halloween event in Renfrewshire has received a welcoming funding boost.
The Paisley Halloween Festival, which is being held from October 26 until October 28, received a share of funding from EventScotland’s National Events Programme. This year’s event is set to be packed with “electrifying” live performances and installations for all the family according to its organisers.to receive a share of the £277,666 of cash.
Paul Bush OBE, director of events at VisitScotland, said: “Our National Events Programme continues to play a crucial role in supporting Scotland’s event sector establish, develop, and evolve a far-reaching range of sport and cultural events across the country.“Events also provide a vital means to generate and distribute additional positive economic, social, and cultural impacts across the country throughout the year.
“They play an important role in our communities, enabling us all to connect, enjoy and share memorable experiences.”
