23-year-old Sagar Massey will appear on tonight's BBC show
An award winning chef from the west coast of Scotland will be taking part in MasterChef: The Professionals this month it has been announced.
Sagar is one of 32 ambitious chefs carefully selected from across the country competing to become the 2022 Champion.Over six weeks, contestants will be put through their paces to win the prestigious title. Starting with the Heat, Sagar will cook against three other chefs to secure a spot in that week’s Quarter Final.
The email update arrives at around 7pm every Thursday evening and is manually curated by our team, bringing you everything you need to know about the city's food and drink scene as lockdown starts to ease.Sagar said: ‘‘It has been a career highlight to take part in MasterChef: The Professionals. I had the privilege of cooking alongside some of the best talents in the country, which was exciting. I can’t wait to watch it together with my family and friends.
