The new facility will form part of a facelift for the storefront.
The Kilmarnock chemist on Glasgow Road is set to introduce the facility as part of a re-brand.
Currently known as the Lloyds Pharmacy among the existing row of shops, the store will be known as the Houlihan pharmacy once the makeover has taken place. An agent for the firm, Andrea Marini, had applied for permission for various signs to be changed at the pharmacy as part of the overhaul.The existing window at the shop will be removed and a self-service prescription pick-up facility will be installed at the new shopfront.Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter
