The two-month-old foal's disappearance caused a social media outcry. Now, owners said they are 'beyond thrilled' to reunite the baby with her mother.
The farm thanked police for their quick response and the"amazing people" who shared the news of the baby donkey's disappearance.
Pleading for help on social media two weeks ago, the farm said staff were"completely devastated and incredibly concerned" by the disappearance, due to the young age of the animal. "This little donkey will be braying loudly tonight because she will be missing her mum badly. This is our chance to find her," they wrote.The post was shared by thousands across Facebook and Instagram, even attracting the attention of television presenter Kirsty Gallacher, who wrote:"Honestly I can't bear this. Will do all I can to help on here spread the word."
According to the farm's website, Miller's Ark Animals is based on the Earl of Malmesbury's estate and specialises in breeding British rare breed farm animals, including Irish Moiled cattle and miniature Mediterranean donkeys, among others.
